TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Article 1 : This contract is intended for the exclusive use of direct booking of the Ancelle gîte at Domaine de la Tourmentine.Under no circumstances can the owner be held liable for any use of this contract by third parties or for purposes other than tourism.
Article 2 - length of stay: The client signing the contract concluded for a fixed period may not under any circumstances invoke any right to remain in the premises.
Article 3 - conclusion of the contract: The reservation becomes effective once the customer has sent the owner a deposit of 25% of the total amount of the price of the stay or stage and a copy of the signed contract, before the date indicated in front. The second copy of the contract is to be kept by the customer.
Article 4 - cancellation by the customer:
Any cancellation must be notified by registered letter or telegram to the owner. - The cottage having been reserved for a stay, the deposit remains with the owner. The owner may request the balance of the price of the accommodation, if the cancellation occurs less than 30 days before the scheduled date of the start of the stay.
Client no-show:If the client does not appear within 24 hours of the date scheduled for the stage or the start of the stay, the contract becomes void and the owner can dispose of his lodging. The deposit and the balance remain with the owner.
Shortened stay: In the event of a shortened stay, the price corresponding to the cost of accommodation remains with the owner.
Reduction in the number of tenants:Unless the owner has previously agreed in writing, no reduction in the number of tenants compared to that indicated in the contract may result in a reduction in the rental price initially determined.
Article 5 - Cancellation by the owner: When, before the start of the stay, the owner cancels this stay, he must inform the customer by registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt or telegram. The customer, without prejudice to recourse for compensation for any damage suffered, will be immediately reimbursed for the sums paid.
Article 6 - arrival: The customer must present himself on the specified day and at the times mentioned on the contract. In case of late or deferred arrival, the customer must notify the owner.
Article 7- payment of the balance: The balance is to be paid 30 days before arrival in the gîte. Consumption and additional services not mentioned in the contract will be paid at the end of the stay to the owner.
Article 8 - tourist tax: The tourist tax is a local tax that the customer must pay to the owner who then transfers it to the Public Treasury.
Article 9 - Security deposit: On arrival of the client in the lodging, a security deposit, the amount of which is indicated on the contract, is requested by the owner. It will be returned after deduction of the cost of repairing the premises, if damage has been observed.
Article 10 - use of the premises: The customer must ensure the peaceful nature of the rental and make use of it in accordance with the destination of the premises. The cleaning is the responsibility of the tenant before his departure in case of non-compliance he will be charged 45 €. For direct bookings with owners or by Gîtes de France, cleaning is included.
Article 11- capacity: If the number of holidaymakers arriving at the gîte exceeds the reception capacity approved by the various departmental services, the owner is able to refuse additional customers. This refusal can in no way be considered as a modification or a breach of the contract at the initiative of the owner, so that in the event of the departure of a number of holidaymakers greater than those refused, no refund can be considered.
Article 12- animals: The contract specifies whether or not the customer can stay in the company of a domestic animal. In case of non-respect of this clause by the customer, the owner can refuse the animals. This refusal can in no way be considered as a modification or termination of the contract at the initiative of the owner, so that in the event of the customer's departure, no refund can be considered.
Article 13 - insurance: The customer is responsible for all damages arising from his fault.He is invited to take out a resort-type insurance contract for these different risks.
